Chicken Curry Burgers

This is a little something different from your normal burgers, but just as delicious!

What You’ll Need:

1 pound ground chicken (or turkey, if you prefer)

1 small purple onion, grated

1 heaping teaspoon garlic, minced

1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated

1/3 cup cilantro, chopped

1 jalapeño, diced (optional)

1 Tablespoon curry powder

¼ cup panko crumbs

1 teaspoon sea salt

Fresh cracked pepper, to taste

What to Do:

In a large mixing bowl, add ground meat, grated onion, garlic, ginger, cilantro and jalapeno, and mix well.  Then, add all remaining ingredients and mix until well-combined.

Form into burgers or small patties and place on lined baking sheet. You can refrigerate until you are ready to grill.

Heat grill to medium high, grill each side 4 – 5 minutes or so until desired doneness.

You can serve this with a nice yogurt sauce if you like.  Enjoy!
