Farm-to-Table Cooking Class
Here you will take the wonderful bounty you acquired at the Farmer’s market and learn how to create an epicurean feast for dinner. Chef Jodi’s indoor and outdoor kitchen, set atop beautiful Mt. Soledad with fabulous panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean, will provide you with a setting like no other! Learn how to create a masterpiece from ingredients you have on hand. You will then dine alfresco on the beautiful food you prepared.
Gourmet Cooking Class with Chef Jodi
Friday or Sunday Evening You will learn how to prepare a five-course, California Cuisine meal, designed specifically for your palate. Starting with olive oil and a gourmet salt tasting you will experience the key ingredients used throughout your cooking class. Visit Chef Jodi’s vegetable garden where you will pick the available harvest-ready produce and learn all about the fresh herbs she uses. Chef Jodi will also teach a few knife skills that will make your prep work at home so much easier. When you are done cooking you will dine on the exquisite meal you learned to prepare, complete with Californian wines that are paired with the meal. We can accommodate certain changes to this itinerary upon request. Pricing $550.00 per person 2 Person minimum Duration: 2 days

I got to participate in the cooking class along with my coworkers and everyone had such a great time! from the beginning watching the sunset to the end of the night chatting around the table over some wine. Everyone gets involved and can get very competitive. The food we made was so delicious, Jodi and her team were such great hosts. I would do this again for sure!
Our company treats our top agents (real estate) to a getaway each year. One of the activities during the retreat has been cooking classes. 10 of us had the pleasure of spending our time with Jodi. She hosted the cooking class at her beautiful home in La Jolly overlooking San Diego and the Pacific Ocean. The setting was world class. The ambiance, instruction, and food were the best we have had. This is the third year we have done a cooking class and Jodi out did them all.
