We hosted another one of our signature Virtual Cooking Events last Wednesday, and, boy, did we have a great time! Seventy-five members of Dallas-based Trend Micro joined us virtually for a memorable evening of cooking and gathering together. Dani Heckman, our event and social media manager, hosted the event and first lead the group through some food trivia to get everyone engaged before the cooking began.
Then, our participants headed to their kitchens to create a delicious California cuisine menu, consisting of Herb-crusted Chicken and Eggplant with a Caper Vinaigrette, accompanied with Orzo with Fresh Lemon Juice and Feta Cheese. Dessert was our popular Chocolate Melting Cakes. These sweet treats were enjoyed so much that two Trend Micro team members sent us pictures of their creations during the event!
Our event was a big hit, and we received feedback from team member, Maggie Reeves, who told us: “Our virtual cooking event was fantastic! Chef Jodi and Dani make a wonderful team! I have already heard from several Trenders (our nickname) about what a great time they had last night. Truly, we had the best time last night and thank you again for your enthusiasm, skill and charm, making last night’s event so memorable!”
We have already been contacted by another Trend Micro team to possibly host a virtual cooking event for them in the near future, so we look forward to that opportunity!
