Our summer of team building continues!
Vistage International visited our kitchen for the second time last week. Jennifer Vedehnal brought five members of her speaker relations team in for a three-course cooking competition, and, boy, did they have a blast.
She told us, “Fantastic time for our small group. Thank you so much! I’ve already shared Lajollacooks4u’s information with our other colleagues!”
Later in the week, we welcomed San Diego-based Heron Therapeutics. Brandy Wolters, Associate Director of Quality Assurance, brought 14 of her team members in for a delicious luncheon. The Heron team sported custom aprons with their logo while preparing a three-course meal, which included Chef Jodi’s new salmon bar. The teams made three delicious sauces, as well as a variety of California cuisine side dishes. Dessert was our seasonal Peach Crisp with Goat Cheese Mousse.
Brandy said, “We had such an amazing day with Jodi and her team. From event and menu plan to finishing up dessert, this has been so much fun! Jodi is so professional, creative and helpful – and I can’t wait to come back with another group!”
