What a year 2016 was for Lajollacooks4u! We had the pleasure of hosting guests and teams from around the world and were able to expand our brand in new directions.
We ended the year with two fabulous groups coming through our doors. On December 22, we had the Kroeger family visit. Pat and Pete Kroeger were from Chicago and their daughter, Colleen, flew down to meet them from Seattle. They were super-foodies and had a lovely time cooking with us.
Colleen said, “Such a fun learning experience to have with my parents! We would love to return with my kids to have three generations in Jodi’s kitchen!”
Our last class of the year was with the Wirth family, coming in all the way from New Jersey. Diane Wirth brought her husband, Ken, and her daughter and son, along with their significant others, to learn how to cook our California cuisine!
Since we take great pride in providing an amazing experience for all kinds of special diets, we created a special menu for Diane’s daughter, Erica, who was dairy-free. She later wrote, “This was an amazing experience to share with my family. Thank you so much for this awesome memory. You have made my lactose-free diet remarkable!”
Ken Wirth also added, “What an amazing experience! Jodi is a fantastic chef, host and teacher. This was an experience I will never forget!”
Thank you again to both the Kroeger and Wirth families for visiting us. We hope to see all of you in our kitchen again soon!
