October was an exciting time here at Lajollacooks4u, and we finished the month off with a fun-filled visit from Ross Dress for Less!
Eight of its Vice Presidents flew in from all across the country to join us for one of our signature team-building events. Together, the team members prepared an elaborate five-course meal, which consisted of a delicious Herb-Crusted Salmon with Caper Sauce and a Porcini-Rubbed Beef Tenderloin with a Wild Mushroom Sauce.
This event was a special time for our guests – not only did they come together as a team to create something delicious together, but our intimate venue overlooking Mt. Soledad gave them memories to last a lifetime. Plus, they were so grateful they didn’t have to spend their time in San Diego inside another conference or hotel room!
Executive Vice President Fred Shuey wrote, “WOW! What a great experience. The team enjoyed the day, and I can see at least two of the four “non-semi chefs” enjoying your cookbook. We often talk about memorable moments and turning points. I believe our experience in your home will be one of those. Thanks for the hospitality!”
