Our cooking classes aren’t just for adults – we love guiding little people around the kitchen, too!
Eleven-year-old Claire flew all the way from Ohio to spend two days cooking with Chef Jodi. An avid foodie, she loves cooking with her family and wanted to learn how to make some healthy and delicious recipes she could make at home.
Adhering to the French term “mise en place” (having all her ingredients prepped and ready to go before starting to cook), Claire prepared potstickers, pasta and pizza rolls. She even concocted our Blueberry Mojito Mocktail – one of her favorites! She left with a Lajollacooks4u apron and our best-selling cookbook, so she could recreate the same recipes at home.
“We love having little people in our kitchen,” said Chef Jodi. “It’s important to encourage them at a young age into making delicious, healthy recipes!”
