We had a jam-packed week last week, welcoming THREE different teams into our kitchen!
Kellogg’s kicked off the week with a visit on Tuesday, bringing along 13 members of its Costco sales team. This was actually the company’s second visit to Lajollacooks4u, having participated in one of our team-building events back in 2008 – right when we opened our doors to the public!
Team member Jennifer Anderson remarked, “So happy to follow your successes! This was my second visit and it was just as fun as the first. Thank you, Jodi!”
The next day, Novartis Pharmaceuticals brought 17 of their team members in for some good old team building and cooking fun. Like the Kellogg’s group, Novartis prepared and enjoyed a delicious Mexican-themed three-course feast, complete with wine pairing.
Novartis team member Michelle Johnson commented, “Thank you for a wonderful, interactive experience for our team. A beautiful setting and fun for all!”
And last but not least, we hosted Intuit, who returned with another one of their groups for our signature three-course cooking challenge. Their team members cooked a delicious surf and turf dinner, consisting of Dijon-Marinated Beef Tenderloin and Roasted Salmon with Dill Pesto.
Nineva Vieth, who coordinated the entire event for Intuit, wrote to us saying, “I have heard very high praises regarding the fun everyone had. This group is in meetings all day long and travels away from their family many times, and fun team-building events, such as the one they enjoyed with you, allowed them the ability to check out of work and just focus on having a good time. This is a tall order that you and your team fulfilled, and for that I am grateful!”
Wow – what a week! Thank you again to all our wonderful groups who visited us. We had a blast with you and look forward to seeing you in our kitchen again soon.
