We kicked off September with a bang – welcoming two HUGE company names into our kitchen!
Jennifer Chason, Director of Cloud Enterprise at Google, was looking for a way to bring her new team of upper management leaders closer together and found that our signature team-building events was the perfect solution!
She and 16 of her team members arrived at our venue ready for an evening of fun, good food and bonding. The event kicked off with a series of ice-breakers and trivia questions, with the group then breaking off into teams – each ready to compete on preparing the most delicious dish.
Menu items included a hearty vegan Eggplant Caponata as an appetizer, Grilled Salmon with a Miso Glaze as the main course and Grilled Peach Shortcakes for dessert – all of which were a huge hit!
Everyone had a great time interacting and collaborating with each other, and several team members expressed that this was the perfect way to come together as a new team.
Later in the week, we then welcomed Experian into our kitchen! Fifteen of its Sales and Marketing team arrived, ready to have a lot of fun and engage in a little friendly competition.
Together they competed against each other while preparing a delicious three-course meal, all while sipping on delicious wine and enjoying the spectacular view from our venue atop Mt. Soledad. As the evening came to an end, several team members exclaimed what a phenomenal time they had. And several team members were so inspired they purchased Chef Jodi’s California Cuisine Cookbook!
Added Jennifer Constantino, Experian’s Account Director who helped coordinate the event, “A great time was had by all! Thank you to Jodi, Adam and Team!”
