We had quite the week last week, as we welcomed multiple groups to our venue to engage in some fun team-building events!
First to join us was BKM. Alison Perkins brought four of her designer clients in for an evening of bonding and cooking fun. The group created a delicious Whole Wheat Seed Bread for an appetizer, accompanied by our signature Fig and Olive Chutney. Then – in order to accommodate those who had gluten-free and dairy-free restrictions – they all prepared a delicious Quinoa with Saffron and Lemon, along with a Roasted Salmon with Tomato and Artichoke Pesto. Dessert was a big hit – Pears Blanched in Wine with a Pecan Crumble!
It was an intimate and memorable evening, and the group was especially appreciative that we were able to accommodate all of their special dietary requirements.
Next, we hosted the company, Purchasing Power. Sixteen of its employees and their spouses joined us for a special afternoon of bonding, cooking and enjoying each other’s company. The group was all decked out in their fabulous customized aprons and had so much fun creating a delicious California cuisine meal together.
After the group participated in our signature olive oil tasting competition and our series of icebreakers, they broke up into teams and got busy in the kitchen. Menu items consisted of our delicious homemade Flatbread with Pesto, Sun-dried Tomatoes, Olives and Feta Cheese, our Grilled Chicken with Middle Eastern spices and Tahini, and our seasonal Apple Crisp with Goat Cheese Mousse for dessert.
A great time was had by all, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed our unique cooking experience, as well as the delicious cuisine that came along with it!
