Often times, when companies visit us, they return for a second time – and BD Life Sciences was no exception! Suzanne Giroux visited us last month and was so impressed with her experience that she brought her own team to join the fun!
Fifteen of her team members joined us for our signature three-course cooking challenge. The group first played a couple of ice breakers and then split into two teams. Once a head chef was selected for each team, both sides rolled up their sleeves and got down to business in the kitchen.
The menu consisted of a delicious Porcini-Crusted Chicken Breast with a Roasted Tomato Olive Sauce, Roasted Brussels Sprouts with Pancetta and a Seasonal Apple Crisp with a Goat Cheese Mousse for dessert. Each team was also responsible for a marketing component, in which they created a 30-second infomercial about the recipes they prepared.
By the end of the event, the camaraderie was apparent and everyone shared lots of laughs as they collaborated and competed against one another. Kevin Everett, one of BD’s team members, told us, “Great experience – would definitely recommend to others!”
