May has been a busy month for team-building events, and last week was no exception. Another Side Tours, San Diego’s top-rated tour company, brought in a group from a surgical company to enjoy our signature three-course cooking challenge!
The group of 15 arrived to the Lajollacooks4u venue by mini-bus and kicked off the event in our garden, where they enjoyed a mocktail and a series of icebreakers.
Once the group was split into two teams, they each went head-to-head, creating our scrumptious Porcini-Crusted Chicken with a Roasted Olive Tomato Sauce, Orzo with Feta and Fresh Squeezed Lemon Juice and Seasonal Berry Crisp with Goat Cheese Mousse for dessert.
It was a fun-filled afternoon of cooking, bonding and dining together. One of our guests, Mark Williams, said, “What an awesome time. Thank you for a special day!”
