Who’s Been in My Kitchen: A Special 75th Birthday Celebration
We love celebrating special occasions here at Lajollacooks4u, so we were thrilled when we were asked to host a 75th multi-generation birthday party last week!
To kick off the event, the lovely family gathered in the garden for a few ice-breakers to get everyone in the mood. After playing a puzzle game to form teams, the trivia winners selected their cooking station and the cooking fun began!
To please all ages in attendance, Chef Jodi put together a delicious menu of homemade cheese and Mushroom Pizza Rolls with her signature Roasted Tomato Sauce.
The main course consisted of Roasted Salmon with a Tomato and Artichoke Pesto and, per the request of the special birthday girl, Mary Ann, Pan-seared Tuscan Veal Chops accompanied with Cacio de Pepe. To top it all off, the group dined on our decadent Chocolate Cake for dessert.
Everyone had a fabulous time, and the children had a blast making and decorating the cake.
Said the birthday girl, “Thank you for an amazing birthday celebration. Everything was amazing!”
