Who’s Been in My Kitchen: A Celebratory Cooking Class
Margarita Inserni was looking for the perfect Christmas gift to give her soon-to-be daughter-in-law, Melissa, and decided that one of our gift cards would do the trick. However, Melissa wasn’t the only one to visit Lajollacooks4u – Margarita’s whole family ended up joining in all the fun!
The group convened in our kitchen, ready to enjoy our signature hands-on gourmet cooking and dining experience and walk away with some nutritious and delicious recipes under their belt. The evening kicked off with the family preparing a Roasted Grape Salad with Balsamic Vinaigrette, followed by a seared Beef Tenderloin for the main course. They paired the tenderloin with three different sauces: Peri Peri (a South African favorite), Tomato and Onion Chutney, and an Asian-inspired Chili Garlic. Each sauce had the versatility to be used on multiple types of protein and brought its own distinct flavor. In fact, each of the three was so delicious that the group had a hard time deciding which sauce was best.
