Lajollacooks4u and California’s premier real estate company, Coldwell Banker Arnold Associates Real Estate kicked off the new year with a fabulously fun team cooking event. The group brought ten of its top performers for a special day of cooking, dining and comradery.
Malek Broody and Scott Stone are busy cooking Garlic Pomme Frites and having lots of fun.
The afternoon class was filled with laughter and plenty of fine cuisine as the group marveled at the Pacific Ocean scenery from Lajollacooks4u’s kitchen, atop Mt Soledad. The meal was accompanied with fine wine and friendly conversation.

Attendee Lulu Baroody described the afternoon class as ‘Fangastric!’ “This was an exquisite experience; we loved the venue, the passionate instruction, fun environment, fabulous food and astounding view – what an incredible day”, Baroody said.
Jack and Kathy Marcil visited all the way from snowy Fargo, North Dakota. Jack wanted to gift Kathy with a very special experience that his foodie wife would love. Kathy is a passionate foodie and loves to cook at home.
Kathy was excited to learn new recipes so she could take them back home and cook for her friends and family. She absolutely loved making the Parmesan Cheese Baskets. Even Jack, got into the making his very own parmesan cheese basket! And together they had a wonderful and memorable experience.
Chef Jodi had an in-home cooking class with the lovely Jennifer and Brandon Coffee. Brandon’s sister bought the couple a gift certificate as a Christmas gift for them. They are both tremendous cooks and foodies. They were excited to expand their palates and learn some new tricks of the trade.
And what could be better than locally caught sea bass that’s been crusted with fresh herbs. It doesn’t get any more Californian than that And the finishing act was a delicious fresh Apple Tarte Tatin.
Chef Jodi had so much fun cooking with the super foodie couple in their flat in Banker’s Hill.
The month closed with Chef Jodi cooking up a storm with some lovely ladies for a spectacularly fun bachelorette party in La Jolla. These gals know how to party!
Ashley planned this amazing gathering for her sister, Lauren, the beautiful bride. Lauren, wanted something unique and special for her bachelorette. The ladies chopped and diced and stirred until a fabulous dinner was ready to be served.
