Lajollacooks4u co-hosted a Virtual Dinners for Good even last Thursday benefiting local nonprofit, Kitchens for Good, and it was a HUGE success!
Over 80 participants joined via Zoom to cook along with Chef Jodi, Dr. Sabrina Falquier and mixologist Jade Boyd. Together, they prepared delicious and seasonal California cuisine, such as Vegetable Quinoa Pilaf and Herb-Crusted Chicken with Caper Vinaigrette. And who can forget the delicious gin cocktails? Ultimately, $2100 was raised to support Kitchens for Good and its hunger relief and culinary job training initiatives. Market Box also provided an amazing ingredients box that sent participants recipe ingredients in advance of the cooking event.
