Turkey Burgers

What You’ll Need:

1 small onion, finely diced

1 Granny Smith apple, grated

2 teaspoons minced garlic

1 Tablespoon olive oil

1 -2 pounds ground turkey

1/3 cup Italian bread crumbs

1 egg beaten

Sea salt and fresh ground pepper, to taste

What to Do:

In a medium size sauté pan, heat olive oil and sauté onions, grated apple and garlic until translucent.

In a large mixing bowl, add ground turkey, beaten egg, and breadcrumbs. Add onion mixture, salt and pepper and then combine all ingredients.

Form turkey mixture into small patties. You can grill them, pan-fry them or broil them. It’s completely up to you!
