If you’re one of the many who will be entertaining this Thanksgiving, the last thing you want to worry about is setting the perfect table.  But have no fear, we’re here to help you in that department.  We’ve curated some of the most inspiring Thanksgiving tablescaping tips to make sure you impress your guests this holiday.

Set the table early

Preparing the table beforehand is a great way to reduce stress and anxiety on the Big Day.  Once you’ve decided on the look you want to present, start setting the table a few days in advance.  Then, the night before Thanksgiving, set out the glasses and silverware so they don’t gather dust.

Go with a tablecloth

Not only will it make cleanup that much easier, but it makes the overall look of the table look clean.  Cloth napkins are another simple must-have that elevates the dinner and can be thrown into the wash at the end of the night.

Personalize place settings

Just a small personal touch can mean that much more to your guests.  Each person in attendance will know that you thought about them being there, which will make this year’s Thanksgiving experience that much more memorable.

Use old pumpkins as a centerpiece

No need to throw out rotting Halloween décor.  Simply place pumpkins in the fridge for a couple of weeks and voila!  You’ve got the perfect Thanksgiving centerpiece.

Incorporate Greenery

This year, Chef Jodi is incorporating succulents!  They’re a unique and fun way to liven up the Thanksgiving table.  Plus, they can be planted afterward in a garden or pot outside.

Happy Thanksgiving!
