Spring Tablescapes

Spring is here, so it’s time to refresh your table with some crisp linens, fresh blooms and bright colors.  Need some extra guidance?  Here are four tips when preparing your spring tablescape:

  • Linens can make a big statement for a relatively small cost. Don’t be afraid to play around with different shades and patterns, as long as you stick to your general color groups.

  • Say goodbye to one large floral arrangement in the center. Instead, choose several smaller arrangements spread across the length of the table.  You don’t need to spend a ton – for less than $10, you can get a nice bouquet of tulips or daffodils.
  • Rather than investing in décor you’ll only use once or twice a year, utilize your menu items! Desserts can double as décor.  Just use a pretty cake stand to display whatever it is you’re serving.

  • Incorporate natural elements into each place setting, such as a single flower over the top of a napkin. Another great option is using a piece of fruit as your place card holder.
