Lajollacooks4u Hosts Cooking for Cause Event to Benefit San Diego Food Bank
Last week, we hosted our Cooking for a Cause event benefiting the San Diego Food Bank, and it was a huge success! With nearly 60 participants attending our virtual fundraiser, we raised $2,400 -- which will provide over 12,000 meals to our community!
Together, Chef Jodi and Dr. Sabrina Falquier prepared delicious cuisine, such as Pan Roasted Salmon with Fresh Dill Pasta, Roasted Vegetables and Goat Cheese Mousse with Fresh Berries, as well as discussed the nutritional benefits of each dish -- all while the participants at home followed along.
All in all, it was a wonderful event, and we look forward to future opportunities to help support our local community!
