Herbed Sauteed String Beans

What You’ll Need:

1 pound fresh string beans

2 Tablespoons olive oil

2 Tablespoons fresh chopped cilantro

2 Tablespoons fresh chopped flat-leaf parsley

1 Tablespoon minced garlic

2 – 3 Tablespoons fresh lemon juice

Sea salt and fresh ground pepper, to taste

What to Do:

Clean and pat dry string beans and slice off ends, but leave whole.

Clean and pat dry parsley and cilantro, chop together until leaves are finely minced.

In a large sauté pan, heat oil over medium heat, add string beans and garlic. Sauté 2 -3 minutes, add parsley and cilantro and lemon juice. Add salt and pepper to taste. Place lid on sauté pan to help steam the string beans. Stir occasionally for 10 minutes until string beans are tender.  Enjoy!
