Summer time is the perfect time for grilling. This recipe is great on other steak cuts, as well.  Try it on your favorite dish!

What You’ll Need:
1 ½ pounds flank steak, trimmed

½ teaspoon garlic powder

½ teaspoon salt

*1 tablespoon lemon pepper

½ cup soy sauce

½ cup olive oil

½ cup red wine vinegar

What to Do:
Sprinkle garlic, salt and lemon pepper over well-tenderized steak.

In a small bowl, mix together soy sauce, olive oil and red wine vinegar; whisk until well emulsified. Pour mixture over seasoned steak. Refrigerate for one hour or more.

Heat the grill to medium heat; grill steak slowly, turning occasionally, until desired level of doneness.

* If you don’t have lemon pepper you can grate the peel of ½ lemon, and add that lemon zest to fresh cracked pepper!
