It’s tomato season here at Lajollacooks4u, and there’s never been a better time than now to incorporate this delicious superfood into your diet!

Tomatoes are packed full of beneficial nutrients and antioxidants.  Not only are they a rich source of Vitamins A and C, but they also play a part in preventing chronic diseases, thanks to their beneficial phytochemicals, such as lycopene.  They are a great cooking staple and always manage to provide a burst of delicious flavor into any dish.
