These have been so much fun to make in our recent virtual cooking events! Plus, with Valentine's Day around the corner, this recipe makes for a tasty treat!
What You'll Need:
Chocolate Pudding with Kahlua
1/3 cup cornstarch
½ cup granulated sugar
3 cups cold whole milk
¾ cups dark chocolate, chopped
½ cup Kahlua
1 Tablespoon vanilla extract
1 cup chocolate wafers, crumbled
Whipped cream or sprinkles or chocolate covered almonds
(This is for the topping and you can be creative and even rim the glass with chocolate if you like)
Small shooter serving glasses
What to Do:
In a medium size mixing bowl, combine cornstarch, sugar, and milk.
Whisk vigorously until well blended. Transfer mixture to a heated double boiler or to a heatproof bowl placed over simmering water. Add chopped chocolate. Simmer for 15 – 20 minutes stirring occasionally.
Pudding is ready when mixture coats spoon. Add Kahlua and stir until combined. Add vanilla and combine.
Add cookie crumbs to bottom of glass. Then fill glass with pudding until half full. Add another layer of crumbled cookie. Next, add more pudding, then top with whipped cream or chocolate almonds or anything you like for flavor and décor.
Place in refrigerator until ready to serve.
